Our Stronghold in Shaking

I see the handwriting on the wall. The promise that everything that can be shaken will be shaken in intensifying in America and the nations. (Haggai 2:6 & 7)

Hebrews 12:26 – 29, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “yet once more”, indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.”

I paraphrase this by saying everything that is taking the place of God in our lives is being touched and dismantled. Our idols are coming down.

Scripture is clear that perilous times will be with us in the last days. We see deep darkness manifesting with weather disturbances, terrorism, violence, persecution, abortion, sexual immorality, plagues, racism, wars and shaking of the economy worldwide. It is not time to run and hide but a time to ‘Arise and Shine’ as the consecrated Bride in the earth. Isaiah 60:1 – 3, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.”

God has made some iron clad covenant promises to His consecrated Bride to protect, provide and preserve us during the intense shakings. Scripture refers to two Zions, one natural and one spiritual. The focus of this blog is the promises made to spiritual Zion which is the church made up of sold out, born again Saints. (Hebrews 12:22 – 24)

God promises to guide, protect and cover us through every storm and crisis. Isaiah 4:5 & 6, “Then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering. And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.”

God promises we will never have to respond to adversity with panic, fear, dread or anxiety.

Isaiah 28:16 – “Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily.”

Isaiah 26:3 & 4 – “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in Yah the Lord, is everlasting strength.”

Psalm 125:1, “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.”

God promises to provide all our essential needs in economic hardships. Psalm 132:13 – 16 – “For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place; This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread. I will also clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. “ Provision means, ‘lunch, venison, game, supplies and groceries. (Verse 15) Bread means meat, fruit, and grain for making bread.

God will also release supernatural creative miracles to provide and sustain us in the shakings. Let us remember the multiplication of the loaves and fish (John 6). The consecrated Bride is the apple of God’s eye and His eye and care is upon us 365 days a year. (Deuteronomy 11:12 and Isaiah 27:3) It is time to look up, stand up and rejoice!! Glory!!

Shalom,

Pastor Michael
